Job summary

Savage is seeking a driven and resourceful Generalist to join our HR team in Midvale, UT. You will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance for the Energy and Mineral business.

Responsibilities include interviewing, training support, HR data management, and ensuring HR policies are followed. Fluency in Spanish is required; SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
• Extensive employment law knowledge and experience.
• Innovative thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in supporting an industrial, manufacturing, supply chain, transportation or logistics industry preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring leaders to deliver HR services including recruitment, staffing, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, and employee/labor relations.
• Supports affirmative action initiatives and ensures compliance with EEO requirements.
• Completes and processes personnel transactions while maintaining confidential HR records.
• Collects, reviews, and analyzes internal and external HR data to benchmark practices against market trends.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
