Job summary

NewView Oklahoma, Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Generalist in Oklahoma City to handle full-cycle recruitment and serve as a backup for payroll and benefits.

This role supports onboarding, internal engagement events, and daily HR service delivery for a mission-driven nonprofit focused on empowering blind and low-vision individuals. You will assist with the AbilityOne IEE process, maintain compliance records, and help implement employee recognition programs while partnering with the VP of Human

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 2 years of HR Generalist experience with recruiting/payroll, or 5 years of HR Generalist experience in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of ADP or other HRIS software, including payroll and benefits modules.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of labor laws, wage/hour, payroll, benefits regulations, EEOC and related HR regulations.
• Efficient in HR administration with strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to meet deadlines and coordinate employee events; strong people management and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads full-cycle recruitment including job fairs, postings, sourcing, interviews, references, background checks, offers and onboarding.
• Performs new employee orientation and ensures ADP records are updated.
• Backup for payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees.
• Backup for benefits enrollment and administration; assist with enrollment and qualifying life events.
• Manage ADP database; run reports on applicant tracking, demographics, wages, benefits and attendance.
• Oversee annual mandatory training; ensure completion and maintain records.
