The Division of Facilities Planning & Management’s Human Resources team is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative HR Generalist to support core HR and recruitment processes at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. You will help with recruitment management, hire and job change transactions, and supervisor changes while contributing to HR service development for employees.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years customer service or related experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn Workday HRIS and other programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple processes, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• HR Certification (SPHR/SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred

Responsabilidades

• Executes and audits work transactions and changes adhering to established policies and procedures to meet anticipated deadlines
• Receives, responds to, and resolves employee questions and problems
• Represents unit/program at institutional workshops, informational meetings, and training sessions
• Contributes to the development, implementation, interpretation, and revision of work unit Human Resources policies and procedures according to institutional and legal rules and regulations
• Performs full lifecycle recruiting
• Provides consultation, performs analytics, and/or maintains personnel files, communications, and materials for work unit through various mediums
