BronxWorks in Bronx, NY is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and talent operations. You will partner with managers to address workplace concerns, guide investigations, and ensure consistent HR policy application.

The ideal candidate has strong written communication, experience in HR investigations and recruitment, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, public administration, organizational leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and recruitment.
• Experience reviewing and drafting performance improvement plans, disciplinary documentation, and other employee relations correspondence.
• Strong knowledge of progressive discipline principles and performance management practices.
• Excellent written communication skills to prepare clear, objective, professional documentation.

Responsabilités

• Partner with managers to address employee performance, conduct, attendance, and workplace concerns.
• Review and guidance on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Assist managers in developing SMART goals and performance expectations.
• Conduct workplace investigations and prepare summaries, findings, and recommendations.
• Support conflict resolution and guidance on employee relations concerns.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
