Job summary

BronxWorks is hiring an HR Generalist focused on Employee Relations & Talent Operations in New York. You will partner with managers to address workplace concerns, support investigations, and guide performance management and disciplinary actions.

The role also leads talent acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing HR projects to strengthen organizational effectiveness and engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong writing ability, solid HR experience, and is proficient with ADP Workforce Now and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and recruitment.
• Experience drafting PIPs and disciplinary documents.
• Knowledge of HR laws and compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Address workplace concerns and conduct employee relations activities.
• Support investigations, performance management and policy consistency.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding, background checks, and HR documentation.
• Analyze HR data and support organizational development projects.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to align practices with policies.
