Job summary

You will help create HR policies, respond to employee inquiries, and support retention, career development, and risk minimization while upholding SpaceX policies and applicable laws. This role requires relocation if not local and may involve extended hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6+ months as HR Coordinator or 1+ years HR experience.
• Experience in an engineering, production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated success at building effective relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel a small client group (150-200 employees).
• Partner with HRBPs and coordinators to identify department needs, recommend changes, and implement improvements.
• Partner with broader HR team in the creation of, documentation, and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and processes.
• Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries, questions and complaints.
• Facilitate internal transfers, oversee promotions, conduct exit interviews, and identify trends to support retention and career development.
