Job summary

The successful candidate will collaborate with the HR team to administer wellness, training, and recognition programs while maintaining accurate records, audits, and reporting to support agency operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Five (5) years of HR experience in coordinator/generalist/employee relations roles.
• Experience supporting benefits, leave administration, worker’s compensation, unemployment claims, HRIS, compliance, and separations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the HR team to enhance operational efficiencies and support departmental functions.
• Maintain and implement an employee wellness program.
• Coordinate benefits administration with external providers.
• Support leave of absence inquiries including FML and personal leave.
• Manage unemployment claims and represent the organization at hearings as needed.
• Maintain HRIS records for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims from reporting to resolution.
• Coordinate drug screening per policy.
• Coordinate employee service recognition programs and events.
• Assist with HR compliance and onsite audit preparations.
• Process educational reimbursement requests with approvals.
• Coordinate employee separations with documentation and notifications.
• Compile and prepare HR reports as requested.
• Conduct HR audits and reconcile vendor invoices.
