Summit County Government is seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to perform a broad range of analytical, professional, technical, and administrative human resources functions in support of County departments.

This position is ideal for an HR professional with experience across multiple HR disciplines who enjoys partnering with leaders and employees to provide practical, customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 years HR experience in workplace investigations and/or HR employee relations, drug and alcohol programs, HR benefit, recruitment, collective bargaining agreements/union relations, workers' compensation, property & liability claims.
• Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license at the time of appointment and throughout employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required (equivalent experience considered).
• Public sector experience and SPHR/PHR certification, master's degree or related training are desired.
• Competency in Microsoft Suites

Responsabilités

• Manage employee relations matters and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Conduct workplace investigations and advise supervisors on personnel issues.
• Apply personnel policies consistently and partner with leadership to resolve complex issues.
• Support union relations and collective bargaining agreements as needed.
• Collaborate with Transit Department and Summit Stage on HR matters.
