Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a motivated HR Generalist to support employee engagement, benefits administration, HR operations, employee relations, and compliance across our programs from our Fishkill, NY corporate office. This on-site role offers opportunities to deliver presentations, trainings, and work with employees and managers across teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of HR experience; generalist background preferred.
• Associate degree in HR or related field, or equivalent.
• Strong MS Office 365 skills; quick learner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience creating presentations with Canva/PowerPoint or similar tools.
• Organized with attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Self-starter with proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee information in Paylocity daily; ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist employees with benefits administration and HR questions.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and surveys; maintain engagement page in Paylocity.
• Support retention initiatives and internal communications to promote connection and culture.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.
• Conduct orientations, benefits presentations, and HR trainings using Teams and other tools.
• Create engaging presentations and training materials using Canva and Office tools.
• Partner with managers and leaders to address employee concerns and HR guidance.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary documentation.
• Maintain handbook policies and promote consistent policy implementation across programs.
• Handle sensitive HR information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Prepare, maintain, and organize HR forms, correspondence, and documentation.
