Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking an HR Generalist to support employee engagement, benefits administration, HR operations, and compliance across programs. Based at our Fishkill, NY corporate office, the on-site role includes presentations, trainings, and collaboration with teams and managers.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of HR experience, strong communication and discretion, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach to foster a positive workplace culture and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of HR generalist experience.
• Associate degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to facilitate orientations and training sessions using Microsoft Teams.
• Discretion with confidential information and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee information in Paylocity daily.
• Assist with benefits administration and HR questions.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
• Support retention initiatives and internal communications.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Conduct orientations, benefits presentations, and HR trainings using Teams.
• Create presentations and training materials with Canva and Office.
• Partner with managers to address employee concerns and promote culture.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and documentation.
• Assist with maintaining employee handbook policies.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Prepare and organize HR forms and correspondence.
