The base salary ranges from $50,000.16 to $56,000.16, with potential increases for pay differentials. The team supports statewide HR functions and emphasizes timely, compliant human resources services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or 3–5 years of HR experience.
• Proven ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Strong data handling, confidentiality, and policy interpretation skills.
• Experience with timekeeping, onboarding, and benefits communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central contact for recruitment and hiring processes including posting, background screenings, onboarding, and verification.
• Advise staff on HR policies, time and leave administration, and position management.
• Communicate benefits changes and enrollment options to employees.
• Coordinate personnel actions across systems and ensure timely data entry.
• Assist with PDQ requests and coordinate with OA staff.
• Enter manual timesheets in SAMII HR and process timekeeping files in Excel.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and share best practices.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations and internal policies.
