Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of human resources experience
• Experience in office support work
• Possession of High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Administer, review, and determine leave and accommodation requests under federal/state regulations
• Coordinate return-to-work processes and communicate with employees, supervisors, healthcare providers, and leadership
• Maintain and protect medical and leave documentation ensuring HIPAA/privacy compliance
• Monitor and report on leave types (FMLA, intermittent, workers’ comp, ADA accommodations, short-term disability)
• Conduct ADA interactive processes and ensure timely paperwork completion
• Provide guidance on personnel laws, policies, and regulations to employees and management
• Prepare leave-related reports and sick-leave trend analyses with recommendations
• Maintain communication and follow-up with employees, providers, timekeepers, supervisors
• Maintain accurate records/databases for tracking leave activity
• Represent the department in meetings/trainings/seminars and inform leadership on progress
