Job summary

Rite of Passage in Miami, FL is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee all HR functions at South Florida Youth Academy and to ensure HR goals are met. You will report to the site Program Director and the District HR Director.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma and 2 years HR experience, or 6 years equivalent. A Bachelor's degree, certification, and/or PHR are preferred; background checks and TB test may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and two years of HR experience; or six years of equivalent experience as a Human Resources Generalist may be substituted.
• Bachelor's degree, certification, and/or PHR are preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, HR policies and practices, and governmental licensing requirements.
• Successful Office Administration Experience Preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Human Resources functions for the site to meet HR goals and objectives.
• Reports to the site Program Director and the District Human Resources Director.
