Spartanburg County Public Library is seeking a Human Resources Generalist-Benefits to manage benefits records, open enrollment, and payroll-related duties. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Personnel, Business Administration or related fields and substantial HR/benefits experience.

The position is based at Headquarters Library with a 40-hour week, salary $43,888 plus generous benefits. Applicants must submit cover letter and resume by the stated deadline and are encouraged to apply online

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with major coursework in Personnel, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of retirement, insurance and benefit programs; familiarity with public personnel administration.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain employee benefit records, files and forms; manage submissions to Benefit First and communicate changes to staff and retirees.
• Review and audit health, dental, vision, life and retiree insurance forms and invoices; issue purchasing requisitions.
• Process monthly premium payments for retirees; confirm COBRA payments and document accordingly.
• Plan and organize annual open enrollment benefit meetings; assist employees and retirees during enrollment.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioner on wellness initiatives and use wellness software; conduct Lunch & Learn sessions.
