Syntrio is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage a broad range of HR functions in Texas. The role covers benefits administration, records maintenance, onboarding/offboarding, recruitment support, payroll tasks, and compliance with company policies and laws.

The ideal candidate handles confidential information discreetly, maintains detailed records, and supports HRIS and reporting activities. Full-time position with standard benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records, physical and electronic files.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including documents and orientation materials.
• Administer benefits for employees, retirees, and board of directors.
• Process applications, background checks, and I-9 verification.
• Assist in administering HRIS system.
• Support recruitment by posting openings and communicating with candidates.
• Respond to basic HR inquiries from employees regarding policies and benefits.
• Assist with payroll support tasks such as time sheets and data entry.
• Prepare HR-related reports and tracking spreadsheets.
• Help organize employee training sessions and company events.
• Ensure compliance with policies and employment laws.
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, data entry.
• Payroll processing knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
