Job summary

Elbit America, Inc. seeks a Human Resources Generalist to implement HR policies, advise managers and employees, and support various HR areas as workload requires. The role includes benefits administration, leave management, and compliance duties across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree (or 4 years of functional experience) with 1–3 years of relevant HR experience, and a readiness to handle diverse HR tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HR functional areas and applicable regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, WC).
• Able to adapt to weekly/daily changing assignments.
• Experience in manufacturing settings is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administer and assist employees with all benefit plans (401(k), HSA, COBRA, etc.).
• Administer FMLA/LOA/STD-LTD programs across sites.
• Manage Worker's Compensation processes and liaison with insurer.
• Resolve enrollment and claim issues with benefit carriers.
• Ensure payroll-deducted files are accurate and up-to-date.
• Respond to HR inquiries via calls, emails, tickets with good service.
• Manage benefit projects and new programs.
• Support HR team members across the organization.
• Conduct new hire benefits orientation and training.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment for benefits.
• Assist wellness programs, communications, and events.
• Support managers and employees with HR questions and resolutions.
• Assist with compensation changes such as union salary progression.
• Conduct routine audits (401(k), Dayforce) to verify data accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding, transfers, promotions checklists, and surveys.
• Administer child support and Medicare/Social Security requests.
