Job summary

Lake City Plating is seeking a dependable HR Generalist to support benefits administration, onboarding, training, and employment compliance. This role partners with the HR Manager to drive accurate records, recruiting activities, and policy adherence in a manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have 2+ years in HR, HRIS experience, and solid knowledge of employment laws. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; valid driver’s license and local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Human Resources experience.
• Two or more years of experience working within an HRIS platform.
• Two or more years of experience with employment laws, hiring practices, and recruitment best practices.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to learn applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of employee benefit programs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding activities.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership throughout the hiring and offer process.
• Help identify effective recruiting strategies and sourcing methods for a variety of positions.
• Internal communications using Microsoft Office and other formats.
• Track required employee training and assist with related follow-up.
• Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and company functions as needed.
• Assist with creating and updating job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Support compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
