Base pay range

$32.00/hr - $33.00/hr

Our client, a trusted partner to hospitals, health systems, and physicians' groups, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support their growing team. This role is a vital part of their HR operations, with a significant focus on Workers’ Compensation case management. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a remote environment. This role provides key support in employee lifecycle management, ensuring a smooth experience for all team members, from onboarding through offboarding. Preferred CST/EST time zone, the majority of work will take place in the geographic area.

** Please note this is a remote, contract role with the opportunity of temp-to-perm. Pay will be $32-$33/hr.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR support for Workers’ Compensation case management
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support new hire documentation, orientation, and systems access
  • Manage and track employee leaves of absence
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures
  • Support employee relations by gathering documentation and escalating issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as payroll, benefits, and compliance
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, or SAP
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of discretion and professionalism with confidential information
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
