Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with benefits administration and employee relations required.
  • Experience supporting workers’ compensation, leave administration, onboarding, terminations, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR activities for a workforce of 300+ employees.
  • Administer employee benefits and serve as a primary resource for employee questions and benefit changes.
  • Coordinate and support annual open enrollment.
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Support workers’ compensation and short-term disability administration.
  • Maintain employee information and HR documentation within the HRIS.
  • Utilize ADP for HRIS and payroll-related activities.
  • Maintain HR reporting, employee data, and manual tracking through Excel.
  • Support payroll processes and ensure employee changes are accurately communicated and processed.
  • Coordinate onboarding, employee changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable employment policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to employee questions and resolve HR-related issues in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and confidential employee documentation.
  • Partner directly with executive leadership regarding employee matters and HR initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reporting, documentation, and overall efficiency.
  • Operate independently with limited supervision while managing multiple competing priorities.

Qualifications for the HR Generalist
  • 3–5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  • Hands‑on experience with benefits administration and employee relations required
  • Experience supporting workers’ compensation, leave administration, onboarding, terminations, and HR compliance
  • Manufacturing, light industrial, or similar workforce experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting an organization or employee population of meaningful scale; 300+ employees preferred
  • Experience working with an HRIS; ADP experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort maintaining HR reports and employee data
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage a broad HR workload
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of discretion and ability to handle sensitive employee information
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in an environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated career stability and strong tenure throughout previous positions
  • Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Orlando, FL
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
