Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Minneapolis, MN to support employees, drive engagement, and gain hands-on experience across recruiting, benefits, compliance and employee relations.

You’ll administer FMLA/LOA, assist with benefits enrollment, coordinate onboarding and orientation, help with posting jobs, screening candidates, and maintain personnel records, contributing to a positive workplace culture and HR programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
• 1-2 years of HR Generalist experience
• Knowledge of benefits administration, recruiting, FMLA/LOA, and employment compliance
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

What You’ll Do

• Administer FMLA, leave of absence, accommodations, and related HR compliance processes
• Support employees with benefits enrollment, open enrollment, life event changes, and wellness initiatives
• Coordinate onboarding and facilitate new hire and driver orientation programs
• Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
• Maintain personnel records, employment documentation, and compliance reporting
• Support employee engagement, retention efforts, and HR programs that promote a positive workplace culture

What You’ll Bring

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
