About The Role
The role owns the day-to-day of people operations for a fast-growing technology company: onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems.
You will act as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, translating company priorities into consistent, well-documented HR processes that scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding: background checks, I-9/E-Verify compliance, equipment handoffs, and new-hire orientation
- Administer benefits programs including open enrollment, carrier changes, leave of absence management (FMLA, ADA, state leave laws), and 401(k) support
- Manage HRIS data integrity and workflows in platforms like Workday, BambooHR, or Rippling; build reports on headcount, attrition, and time-to-productivity
- Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues, conducting investigations and documenting outcomes in partnership with leadership and counsel
- Maintain and update the employee handbook, policies, and required compliance postings across multi-state jurisdictions (FL, CA, NY, and others)
- Support performance review cycles, compensation planning, and promotion processes through Workday or equivalent systems
- Drive engagement programs, including pulse surveys, recognition initiatives, and manager enablement sessions
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of HR generalist or people operations experience, ideally in a high-growth tech environment
- Working knowledge of multi-state employment law (FL required; CA and NY a plus), including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and wage-and-hour compliance
- Hands-on experience administering an HRIS (Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, or similar) and building reports from HR data
- Experience running employee relations investigations with sound documentation practices
- Strong written communication and ability to build clear, employee-friendly policies and docs
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
- Bonus: Experience with HRIS implementations or migrations, equity compensation administration (Carta, Shareworks), or DEI program design
