Recruiting

• Posts and manages open positions.
• Manages the orientation, interview and screening process.
• Conducts orientations both on and off‑site.
• Travels for recruitment events off‑site.
• Screens applicants.
• Performs a variety of tasks in the hiring process including reference checks, background checks and drug testing.
• Helps maintain employment records and employee database.

Vessel and Personnel Logistics

• Communicates with vessels and crews to ensure rotations and proper staffing levels onboard the vessels.
• Assists in crew travel arrangements including flights, accommodations and food.
• Reviews and approves crew travel expenses.

Safety & Training

• Helps organize current safety plans, policies and procedures.
• Helps maintain an annual training schedule (Company, USCG, OSHA and State) for vessel crews, assists in the arrangement and documentation of training.
• Assists in insurance issues.
