Aptean is seeking a Contract HR Generalist (4-5 months) to support our North American HR Partners and Leadership. This role is based in Alpharetta, GA and combines strategic partnership with hands-on operational duties in a fast-paced software environment.

You will handle visa processes, data integrity, and collaborate with payroll and leaders across North America to ensure a smooth employee experience during growth and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with certification in Human Resources.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Global mobility or work visa administration experience is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle HCM is preferred.
• Experience in software industry or PE-backed company preferred.
• Track record of driving initiatives and able to work with little supervision.
• Strong attention to data integrity and documentation.

Responsibilities

Overview

We’re looking for a ContractHR Generalist ( 4-5 months) to join our high-performing team in Alpharetta, GA. The position is full-time. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our team, supporting our North American (US and Canada) HR Business Partners and HR Leadership team. This role is a combination of strategic business partnering and operational initiatives, so you need to be able to do both well. You’ll need to be agile and quick to adapt to change, as acquisitions are a key aspect of our growth strategy. You’ll work with team members in the U.S. and Canada and be part of a large global HR team committed to providing a consistent employee experience across the many countries we do business in.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide initiative driven operational support to our team in North America on a variety of tasks throughout the lifecycle of an employee
• Extensive hands- on experience supporting U.S. work visa processes, including liaising with internal stakeholders and legal teams.
• Handle employee inquiries by educating and recommending solutions or escalating appropriately.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all HR employee data and make sure we have up-to-date documentation for all our employees.
• Participate in notification meeting with leaders, conduct exit interviews and complete exit paperwork.
• Liaise with Payroll on compensation changes following set procedures and through data entry.
• Actively contribute to projects to continuously improve the efficiency and capacity of the HR team in North America.

To be ahead of the pack, you might have:

• Post-secondary education with certification in Human Resources
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. Any global experience is an asset
• Prior global mobility or work visa administration with both students & technical professionals
• Previous experience with Oracle HCM is preferred
• Experience within the software industry or in a private equity-backed company is preferred
• Has a proven track record of driving initiatives, prioritizing, and task completion with little supervision
• A critical eye with exceptional attention to detail and data integrity
• Ability to handle employee relations in a professional, tactful, and confidential manner
• Must be innately collaborative and deadline driven, even while under pressure in a fast-paced, change infused environment
