Job summary

Aptean is seeking a Contract HR Generalist (4-5 months) to support our North American HR Partners and Leadership. This role is based in Alpharetta, GA and combines strategic partnership with hands-on operational duties in a fast-paced software environment.

You will handle visa processes, data integrity, and collaborate with payroll and leaders across North America to ensure a smooth employee experience during growth and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with certification in Human Resources.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Global mobility or work visa administration experience is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle HCM is preferred.
• Experience in software industry or PE-backed company preferred.
• Track record of driving initiatives and able to work with little supervision.
• Strong attention to data integrity and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to North America HR team across the employee lifecycle.
• Support U.S. work visa processes with internal stakeholders and legal teams.
• Handle employee inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance of HR data and documentation.
• Participate in meetings with leaders and conduct exit interviews; complete paperwork.
• Coordinate with Payroll on compensation changes per procedures.
• Contribute to projects to improve HR efficiency and capacity.
