Job summary

HealthCare Recruiters International is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead its HR strategy and operations across multiple states. This hands-on leadership role balances strategic planning with day-to-day execution while supporting a growing, multi-location workforce.

You will drive talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, retention, and HR initiatives while building and developing the HR team. Strong ADP Workforce Now experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR management or leadership experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-location or multi-state organization.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations.
• Demonstrated experience leading talent acquisition and recruiting initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate an HR team.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth, staffing, and employee retention.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states.
• Manage benefits administration, FMLA, workers' compensation, PTO, and leave policies.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, training, and employee initiatives.
• Leverage ADP Workforce Now to manage HRIS functions, analyze workforce data, and track key metrics.
• Oversee corporate recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
• Manage relationships with benefits providers and other HR partners.
• Personally support recruiting for key leadership and critical positions as needed.
