Multi Entity Professional Organization is seeking an experienced HR Director to build and formalize its HR function across multiple sites in Nassau County, NY. The role is hands-on and strategic, focused on policy development, compliance with New York employment laws, and scalable HR processes.

You will lead benefits administration, employee relations, timekeeping, onboarding, and workforce planning for a diverse population across 10+ locations.

Formación

• 6–8+ years of progressive HR experience in multi-site or multi-entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of New York employment law, including FMLA and PFL.
• Experience building or formalizing HR processes within a growing organization.
• Experience supporting multiple locations, business units, or legal entities.
• Excellent employee relations and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment.
• Ability to work with hourly, salaried, part-time, per diem, and professional staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with sound judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Help build and formalize a comprehensive HR function within a growing, multi-entity organization.
• Develop scalable HR processes, policies, procedures, and resources.
• Serve as SME on NY employment laws and compliance.
• Lead benefits administration and open enrollment planning.
• Oversee onboarding, transfers, timekeeping, and workforce administration across locations.
• Support recruiting and workforce planning during periods of growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve HR structure and employee experience.
