Job summary

Brightwing in Troy, MI seeks an experienced HR Director to lead a growing service organization. You will shape people strategy, oversee payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.

A Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least five years of HR leadership, with strong knowledge of employment laws, HRIS/Paychex, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR leadership.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, compensation, and HR compliance.
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and processes.
• Experience supporting a multi-state workforce preferred.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems; Paychex experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
