Job summary

LifeCare Home Health Family is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead strategic HR initiatives across our growing team in a multi-site healthcare environment, including onboarding, benefits, policy development, and compliance.

Reporting to the Vice President of HR, you will oversee integration for home health and hospice acquisitions, ensure training for HR staff, and collaborate with branch leadership to align HR programs with organizational goals and compensation practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR management experience.
• Multi-site and multi-state healthcare experience; home health and/or hospice experience preferred.
• SHRM certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• With the VP of HR, oversee HR functions and the integration process for home health and hospice acquisitions including employee relations, policies, procedures, benefits, compensation, training & development, onboarding and HR compliance.
• Collaborate with HR team members to ensure HR strategies and programs are fully integrated within the organization.
• Provide training for new HR representatives and management staff.
• Consult with branch and support center leadership on HR matters; make progressive discipline and termination decisions with agency leadership.
• Assist and guide branch HR representatives and leadership with employee relations issues and policy interpretation.
• Work with leadership to manage compensation practices including market analysis and internal equity.

General Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for strategic HR initiatives related to internal operations and home health and hospice acquisitions - this includes the development, implementation, communication, maintenance, and administration of HR processes, practices, and strategies to support the organization.

Essential Functions

• With the VP of HR, overseeing HR functions and the integration process for home health and hospice acquisitions to include employee relations, policies, procedures, benefits, compensation, training & development, onboarding and HR Compliance.
• Works with all HR Team Members and areas within HR to ensure that HR strategies and programs are fully integrated within the organization.
• Ensures training is provided for new Human Resource representatives and management staff
• Consults with Branch and Support Center leadership on human resource related matters; make progressive discipline and termination decisions in cooperation with Agency leadership.
• Responsible for assisting and guiding branch Human Resource representatives and branch leadership with employee relations issues, policy interpretation and process concerns
• Works with leadership to manage compensation practices including market analysis, market competitiveness, internal equity.

Experience
