Job summary

Qualifications

Ongoing Recruitment - Health Care Coordinator

TheDirector of Human Resources is responsible for leading and overseeing theorganization’s human resources functions and implementing HR strategies thatalign with overall business goals. This position provides leadership inrecruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration,compliance, training and development, and workforce planning.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

HR Leadership & Strategy

  • Oversee daily Human Resources and ensure departmental objectivesalign with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned withorganizational goals and priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to senior leadership, management,and employees and management on HR best practices, organizational needs, workforceplanning, and employee-related matters.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends and prepare reports for managementregarding key HR initiatives, outcomes, and workforce trends.
  • Manage the HR budget and promote the efficient use of departmentalresources.

Employee Relations & Workplace Culture

  • Address employee relations concerns and facilitate conflictresolution through appropriate mediation and problem-solving.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding workplaceexpectations, policies, and employee relations matters.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environmentthat values diversity, professionalism, accountability, and employeewell-being.

Recruitment, Onboarding & Workforce Management

  • Oversee the full recruitment process, including sourcing,interviewing, selection, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Support workforce planning and staffing efforts to meet currentand future organizational needs.
  • Ensure onboarding practices provide new employees with theresources, information, and support needed for successful integration.

Performance Management & Employee Development

  • Develop and oversee performance management processes, includingemployee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and professional developmentinitiatives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers regarding performancemanagement, employee development, and corrective action processes.
  • Identify organizational and employee training needs and coordinatetraining and professional development programs.
  • Lead, mentor, supervise, and develop HR departmental staff,fostering professional growth and accountability.

Policies, HR Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations,organizational policies, while staying current on changes that may impact theorganization.
  • Develop, review, implement, and maintain HR policies andprocedures as needed.
  • Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and managementand support consistent application throughout the organization.
  • Oversee HR administrative functions, including employee records,payroll coordination, benefits administration, and related documentation.
  • Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, confidential, andmaintained in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Oversee employee scheduling and time-management processes asapplicable.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in humanresources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in human resource management (MHRM), BusinessAdministration (MBA) with an HR concentration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment regulations, HR best practices, andcompliance requirements.
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR)
  • Leadership: Strong leadership,mentoring, and team development skills.
  • Communication: Excellentverbal, written, and relationship-building skills with employees and leaders atall levels.
  • Organization: Strongorganizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Effectiveconflict resolution, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Professionalism: Soundjudgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Collaboration: Abilityto work effectively across teams and departments.
  • Technology: Proficiency with HRsoftware and Microsoft Office Suite.

PhysicalDemands

This position isprimarily performed in an office environment and requires prolonged periods ofsitting, working at a computer, and communicating with employees andstakeholders. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting or moving upto 25 pounds may be required. Employees must have the ability to operatestandard office equipment and perform the essential functions of the position.
