Job summary

Thurrock Council is seeking a data‑driven HR Data and Systems professional to maintain employee records in Oracle HCM, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and support payroll and reporting activities. You will handle changes from starters to leavers, run validated reports, and contribute to system upgrades while working closely with Payroll and HR teams.

Qualifications

Experience handling HR data in a live HRIS environment.
Strong data validation and QA skills.
Ability to generate reliable HR reports and dashboards.
Demonstrated adaptability to system changes and upgrades.

Responsibilities

Oracle HCM data management and upkeep of employee records.
Process workforce changes (new starters, leavers, transfers, secondments, contract variations, position changes).
Create/modify positions within Oracle HCM per establishment controls.
Validate data and perform QA checks across HR and payroll systems, including payroll cut‑off dates.
