Job summary

R & W Group is assisting a leading US law firm in Washington, DC to hire a Human Resources Data Analyst. This hybrid, on-site role focuses on compensation, pay equity, and compliance initiatives for professional staff.

You will partner with the CHRO and HR colleagues to analyze salary structures, support market positioning, and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. Strong Excel, analytics, and HRIS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; business-related field preferred.
• At least three years of data analytics experience supporting a large, multi-location employer; professional services experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with macros and pivot tables; Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows; HRIS platforms such as UKG/UltiPro a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze professional staff compensation to support strategy, market position, and legal compliance.
• Conduct compensation analyses and market pricing for roles.
• Partner with CHRO, HR team, and leaders to provide compensation guidance for recruiting and pay-equity decisions.
• Maintain compensation programs and tools in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Support pay-transparency compliance across jurisdictions.
• Assist with pay equity and compensation reviews and related policies.
