Job summary

Minneapolis Golf Club is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to implement and lead HR practices fostering an employee‑oriented, high‑performance culture. You will report to the Controller and support managers on HR issues, from onboarding and compliance to training, policy development, and benefits administration.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years HR experience, strong communication and confidentiality, and a proactive mindset. Hospitality experience and SHRM/PHR credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in Human Resources
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Demonstrates good judgment and discretion
• Self-starter with proactive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Professional and courteous with diverse teams
• Excellent attention to detail
• Hospitality industry experience preferred
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding/offboarding processes
• Handle employment compliance and reporting
• Coordinate employee orientation, development and training
• Develop and update policies and employee handbook
• Maintain employee relations and communications
• Administer benefits and wellness programs
• Oversee LOA processes and documentation
• Assist in recruiting and talent acquisition
• Lead investigations into complex employee relations issues
