Carriage House Nursing and Rehab in Bay City, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support payroll, benefits, I-9 compliance, and HR data integrity. You will monitor leave, handle confidential records, and ensure timely reporting.

The role partners with the Administrator to maintain accurate HRIS data, process payroll and benefits changes, and enforce federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computerized payroll and bookkeeping systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and all levels of the organization.
• Skilled in the use of computers and Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Ability to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Bi-weekly payroll processing and merit review administration.
• Present benefit plans, explain changes, and facilitate enrollment/de-enrollment.
• Order and distribute benefit/personnel supplies and enrollment forms.
• Coordinate the I-9 process and verify employment eligibility.
• Post state and federal posters in required locations.
• Assist employees with leave requests and proper documentation.
• Monitor leave, track benefit payments, and produce weekly reports.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data including SSN, job title, and FLSA status.
• Serve as Affirmative Action compiler for the facility.
• Set up and maintain payroll records with confidentiality and compliance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
