Job summary

Vaughn-Construction is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support across HR functions in Texas. The role covers onboarding, employee data management, payroll support, compliance, and employee services, ensuring accurate processes and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding, processing payroll-related changes, maintaining records, and supporting managers with HR requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 1–3 years in HR, HR Administration, or related support role.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred or required based on business needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (UKG preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee onboarding and ensure completion of all required documentation.
• Maintain employee records and HR data accuracy.
• Process payroll support and wage changes; manage PTO transactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment requirements.
• Process E-Verify records and OAG employment requests.
• Respond to HR inquiries and provide general HR support.
• Coordinate leadership assimilation schedules and onboarding activities.
• Prepare and distribute employee recognition cards and materials.
