Job summary

Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, Inc. in Johnstown, PA seeks a motivated HR Coordinator to support onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training coordination, HRIS management, safety programs and workers' compensation.

This role partners with employees and leaders across the organization to ensure accurate records and compliant processes. You will handle confidential employee data, process hires and changes in ADP Workforce Now, generate routine HR reports, coordinate benefits

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in human resources administration or a related HR support function.
• Experience utilizing HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, onboarding, benefits administration, and leave coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Process routine employee transactions (hiring, changes, transfers, terminations).
• Generate HR reports to support operations.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and inquiries.
• Track leaves, PTO, disability, and workers' compensation documentation.
• Assist onboarding and orientation activities.
• Support HR compliance reviews and audits.
