Job summary

The Human Resources Coordinator at TriMas Packaging LLC in Auburn, IN, is on-site and full-time. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• 1–3 years in HR, HR admin or related role.
• Experience supporting hourly recruiting and onboarding in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll processes.
• Strong organization and communication skills with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hourly recruiting activities including postings, scheduling, interviews, and applicant communications
• Support new hire orientation and onboarding processes for smooth transitions
• Assist with attendance tracking and timecard support, resolving discrepancies
• Maintain accurate employee records and perform HRIS and payroll data entry
• Provide administrative support for benefits enrollment and inquiries
• Support employee relations by assisting HR leadership with documentation and communications
• Maintain HR documentation and ensure policy compliance
• Support HR initiatives like engagement, training coordination, site events
• Assist with reporting and data tracking on HR metrics
• Serve as a point of contact for HR policies and resources
