What's exciting about the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator with expertise in Leave of Absence (LOA) and Onboarding to support our HR Shared Services operations. This role will oversee LOA case management and process design across regions, while also supporting onboarding, documentation, and employee lifecycle processes.


In addition to owning the LOA administration globally , this person will act as a backup for HR coordination responsibilities in the Americas and LAC , ensuring business continuity across both areas.


Key Responsibilities

Leave of Absence (LOA)



  • Serve as an advisor and administrator for LOA programs (medical, parental, personal, statutory, and company-specific).

  • Monitor and respond to inquiries in the LOA inbox and ServiceNow , providing timely and high-touch support.

  • Process leaves requests in accordance with policies, determine eligibility, and coordinate necessary documentation.

  • Communicate clearly with employees about leave options, timelines, and responsibilities.

  • Maintain accurate LOA records in Workday and coordinate with Payroll for correct pay and benefits during leave periods.

  • Partner with the internal stakeholders for specific case

  • Stay up to date on compliance and legal requirements across regions related to LOA and implement changes as needed.


HR Operations (Backup Support – Americas and LAC)



  • Provide backup support for onboarding coordination , including offer documentation, background checks, and new hire setup.

  • Assist with the generation and issuance of employee letters (employment, salary, transfers, etc.).

  • Help maintain employee records in Workday, ensuring compliance with data privacy and internal policies.

  • Support ServiceNow case resolution and act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and administrative requests.

  • Assist in benefits administration tasks, employee transitions, and contingent workforce processes as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 4–7 years of experience in HR operations, with a strong focus on LOA administration and onboarding coordination.

  • Familiarity with U.S. LOA laws (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD) and awareness of LOA practices across LAC, EMEA, and APAC.

  • Experience with HRIS systems like Workday and case management platforms such as ServiceNow .

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and empathy.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
