About the Role

The Leave of Absence (LOA) Administration team provides administrative support for employee leave requests in Puerto Rico, handling transactional support and case management.

Responsibilities
  1. Answer LOA calls and conduct return-to-work calls.
  2. Follow up with outbound calls, employing active listening and probing techniques.
  3. Send leave request emails to supervisors/HR/OHS.
  4. Monitor inboxes and faxes for new leave entries and extensions, generate leave policy kits, and assign cases.
  5. Update case information in the system for client callbacks.
  6. Support case management activities such as collecting medical releases and coordinating with medical offices.
  7. Assist with HRIS transactions and administrative projects, ensuring accurate documentation.
  8. Collaborate with the team to improve service delivery through automation and process streamlining.
Requirements
  • Understanding of the leave process cycle, case management systems, and relevant laws.
  • Ability to prioritize urgent cases.
  • Strong communication skills, including handling confidential information and facilitating smooth information transfer.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • High School diploma or higher education (College or Bachelor's preferred).
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience or knowledge in Leave of Absence processes.
