Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking an HR Coordinator at Ashby Ponds to support the HR team in recruitment, training, and employee relations. You will act as liaison between the community and corporate HR, handling benefits, Workday, payroll, and staff communications.

You will assist with new hire processes, benefits administration, and staff development programs, while maintaining records and supporting special projects. The role offers growth within a large senior living network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of HR-related experience or equivalent education.
• Experience with an HRIS program, Workday preferred
• PHR or SHRM (CP) certification desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor benefits plans for health, EAP, tuition reimbursement, and retirement programs.
• Develop and/or implement community-specific employee communication to enhance understanding and appreciation of benefits programs
• Participate in recruitment activities (e.g., career fairs, college fairs, open houses)
• Serve as the principal contact for newly hired employees, including processing new hire paperwork and background checks
• Provide consultative end-user transaction processing guidance in systems such as Workday and UKG
• Coordinate and/or facilitate staff development programs, including new employee orientation
• Assist in responding to employee relations issues in partnership with the appropriate line manager/supervisor
• Enter employment-related transaction data into Workday during the new hire process
• Maintain electronic employee files
• Complete special projects as assigned
• May organize campus Benefits Fair for Open Enrollment
• Assist with all-staff monthly meetings
• May perform timecard audit reporting and order office supplies
• Serve as primary liaison between Workday division and the community
