Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking an Assisted Living Manager to oversee the success of the Assisted Living Neighborhoods. You will partner with residents, families, and staff to support social service needs and ensure high-quality resident care and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year related experience in Long-term care/assisted living preferred. Education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Experience with the elderly and understanding of the dementia process and its impact on daily living and activity programming.
• Knowledge of the geriatric population and aging process, including physical, psychological and social needs.
• Meets state-specific requirements for management certification of assisted living and/or personal care facilities (within 90 days of hire).
• National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (ADCP or ADC) as required by the State.
• ACC (Activity Consultant Certified), CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner), or CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading a holistic, person-centered approach to assessment and service/care planning.
• Conducting pre-residency assessments and screening of potential residents and recommending appropriate residency level.
• Evaluating psychosocial and ADL needs and coordinating care and services.
• Communicating with residents and families about changes in the care plan and residents’ condition.
• Providing individualized psychosocial support via family meetings or support groups and assisting through transitions between care levels.
• Partnering with Social Workers to develop support groups and education for residents and families.
