Job summary

Addition Management LLC in Long Island City, NY is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support the NY-based HR department across interviewing, onboarding, attendance and performance management. This is a fully in-office role with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000.

Responsibilities include onboarding new hires, benefits coordination, employee relations, timekeeping in ADP, wellness programs, and ensuring HR processes align with company protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of the New York-based HR Department, from interviewing to on-boarding; from time and attendance to performance management; from workplace investigations to wellness programs.
• Partners with local leadership to ensure all administrative HR responsibilities are executed with excellence.
• Escalates issues appropriately and ensures employees receive confidential, timely support.
• Ensures local facility employees feel supported to succeed in their roles.
• New Hire On-Boarding — Welcome Packets, Orientations, Benefits Orientations, Building Tours, Colleague Contact Programming.
• Entering employees into ADP.
• New hire paperwork.
• On-site wellness programs.
• Unemployment claims.
• FMLA, NYSPFL, Disability requests and communication.
• Reviewing Time & Attendance on ADP — Timecards.
• Employee relations.
• Written performance counseling and termination checklists.
• Benefits claims issues.
• Employee appreciation events.
• Retirement planning meetings.
