Job summary

Universal Health Services' Compass Intervention Center in Memphis, TN seeks an HR Coordinator to support the HR department with onboarding, recruitment coordination, and daily staff assistance.

You will handle onboarding documents, orientation scheduling, HR record maintenance, and ad-hoc HR projects while delivering high levels of service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of HR experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Resolves a wide variety of general questions and inquiries for facility staff. Provides routine information to visitors, callers, and employees which requires a good knowledge of Human Resources processes. Direct and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Processes new hires regarding pre-employment process. Schedules new hires for orientation and ensures all onboarding documents are completed for the new hire to begin employment.
• Ensures the facility is prepared for new hire orientations and facilitates the orientation schedule. Facilitates orientation.
• Maintain filing of HR records and assist in performing periodic audits of HR files.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, like collection of employee engagement surveys and new hire check‑ins/feedback surveys.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Compass Intervention Center has been providing psychiatric services to the Memphis area for more than 29-years. Compass Intervention Center is located in Southwest Tennessee. This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas.

Compass Intervention Center is a free-standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages 10 to 17. Residential treatment, virtual programs, intensive outpatient, acute, and partial hospitalization services are available to male and female adolescents ages 10 to 17. Compass offers a full continuum of care for psychiatric treatment of adolescents and is the only facility in the State of Tennessee that offers every level of care to adolescents.

Created to serve adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 years old, the Acute Adolescent Program offers treatment for psychiatric and emotional problems.

As a member of the Human Resources Team:

The Human Resources Coordinator performs daily administrative tasks and services to support the Human Resources Department. The HR Coordinator provides a high level of customer service with a strong emphasis on support to employees and assistance with the recruitment and interview process.
