HR Coordinator – Construction Industry
Location: Burbank, CA Status: Full-time | On-site Compensation: $50,000–$70,000 (DOE) + Benefits
About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly organized, punctual, and driven HR Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on keeping processes running smoothly, managing multiple tasks with precision, and building genuine relationships with employees at all levels.
In this fast-paced construction environment, you’ll play a central role in supporting hiring, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. Your attention to detail and proactive communication style will help keep our people supported and our processes compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the full-cycle hiring process including job postings, scheduling, and onboarding
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Assist in organizing training sessions, safety briefings, and benefits enrollment
- Support timekeeping, PTO tracking, and policy communications
- Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and a can‑do attitude
- Help enforce punctuality and attendance policies company-wide
- Collaborate closely with Division managers, PEO Organization, and executive leadership
- Jump in where needed – we’re a hands‑on team!
- Attend local and regional networking events with focus on talent development

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in HR, office administration, or similar role (construction experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bamboo HR or similar HR platforms
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus
- Familiarity with HRIS or timekeeping systems preferred
