About The Role
Qvest US is seeking an HR Coordinator to help run the efficient operation of Human Resources (HR) and IT processes. You will help with the routine functions of the HR department including the employment life cycle, benefits, leave, and immigration & IT processes including laptop procurement, troubleshooting & trade-ins and system access management.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR & IT programs and processes.
- Update, maintain and review HR related system data (UKG and BambooHR) & employee paperwork to ensure timely and accurate information is entered.
- Be the main point of contact for onboarding & new hire orientation.
- Conduct background checks.
- Facilitate benefits administration.
- Assist in revising, recommending and implementing personnel policies and procedures.
- Respond to employee & vendor questions, troubleshoot issues by interpreting company policies and providing recommended courses of action.
- Refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Manage procurement of laptops, culture event items and life event items.
- Draft and send company correspondence.
- Maintain personnel files.
- Create and send reports.
- Assist in administering various HR projects and presentations.
- Assist in completion of mandatory compliance reporting/documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an administrative or HR assistant role
- HRIS experience with software such as UKG and/or BambooHR a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated responsiveness, tact, diplomacy, integrity, professionalism, good judgment, and confidentiality in communications with all levels of personnel, clients, and outside vendors
- Excellent problem solving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing numerous tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to quickly learn the organization’s Human Resources systems
- Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite. Google Suite is Qvest’s day-to-day software.
- Previous experience working remotely preferred
- Experience with Mac or ability to learn Mac
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
