Job summary

Visiting Nurse Health System is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department in our Atlanta office. You will respond to routine inquiries, assist with HR documents, calendar management, and basic audits while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires 1-2 years in HR, proficiency with HRIS and MS Office, and strong organizational and communication skills. This is a full-time, in-office position with regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree required.
  • 1–2 years HR experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and assist with daily HR operations.
  • Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, employment documents, and other HR materials.
  • Monitor the HR mailbox and promptly respond to or route inquiries.
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, training sessions, employee relations meetings, and other HR activities.
  • Maintain HR calendars, deadlines, task lists, and departmental records.
  • Assist with department projects, audits, employee communications, and organizational initiatives.
  • Provide professional and customer-focused service to employees, applicants, managers, and external partners.
  • Create, maintain, and update electronic and physical employee records.
  • Upload employment documents to employee profiles and file records accurately.
  • Maintain confidentiality and restrict access to employee information in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

About the Role:

This position provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department and serves as a resource for employees, applicants, managers, and external partners. This position supports day-to-day HR activities as needed. The scope of this role will increase based on skills and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, Associate's Degree
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within the healthcare or social assistance sector.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within healthcare settings.

Compensation:$17.35 - $24.89 | Non-Exempt | Monday - Friday - In Office - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
