Job summary

New York Blower is seeking an HR Compliance Associate to support day-to-day compliance across the employee lifecycle. You will work with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and other departments to ensure adherence to policies and employment regulations.

The role is flexible and may extend administrative compliance support to Safety and Training & Development as needed, requiring discretion with confidential information and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in HR administration, payroll, benefits, or compliance is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee leave programs and maintain related documentation.
• Support benefits administration, eligibility, enrollment and records.
• Aid payroll compliance activities by reviewing timecards and eligibility.
• Help with onboarding, changes, transfers, leaves, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain HR policies, forms, and documentation; stay compliant with laws.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to resolve compliance matters.
• Assist with workplace safety and training program administration.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive data.
• Provide general compliance support to other departments as needed.
