Related is seeking an HR Compliance Analyst to support our HR Compliance function across a multi-state workforce. The role involves hands-on exposure to employment law, litigation support, background screening, and immigration compliance, reporting to the HR Compliance Manager in New York.

The position is full-time and hybrid, based in our New York office three days per week, with responsibilities spanning regulatory monitoring, policy updates, and vendor management to ensure adherence to laws

Responsabilidades

• Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws; summarize key changes and impact for the team.
• Maintain compliance calendar and tracker with deadlines and effective dates.
• Gather data and ensure accuracy for regulatory reports.
• Oversee labor law poster process and coordinate with stakeholders; process invoices.
• Coordinate OSHA and workers’ compensation poster process with internal teams.
• Support policy and handbook reviews, including state supplements and translations.
• Draft guidance memos on new and changing state/local requirements.
• Assist with vetting and onboarding third-party vendors.
• Monitor and track vendor and outside counsel invoices against budgets.

Responsibilities

The HR Compliance Analyst supports Related’s HR Compliance function across a multi-state workforce, helping ensure our policies, practices, and processes adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards and proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks. The role sits at the intersection of HR and Legal, with hands-on exposure to employment law, litigation support, background screening, and immigration compliance. This position is full-time, reports to the HR Compliance Manager, and will be based in our New York office three days a week. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Regulatory & Policy Compliance

• Monitor new and existing federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and summarize key changes and their impact for the team.
• Maintain compliance calendar and tracker (e.g., statutory deadlines and effective dates).
• Gather data and ensure accuracy for regulatory reports.
• Oversee labor law poster process (e.g., ordering posters, coordinating with business stakeholders, and processing invoices).
• Coordinate OSHA and workers’ compensation poster process with internal stakeholders.
• Support policy and handbook review, updates, and rollout, including state-specific supplements and translations.
• Draft guidance memos for internal stakeholders on new and changing state and local requirements
• Assist with vetting and onboarding third-party vendors.
• Monitor and track third-party vendor and outside counsel invoices against budgets.
