The Compliance Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring strict adherence to company-wide policies and regulations set forth by OMH, DOH, OASAS, DOE, CHRC, and other relevant bodies within the Human Resources department of Acacia Network. This position is responsible for overseeing compliance in multiple critical areas, including regulatory filings, policy adherence, document management, and reporting.
Oversee compliance with:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in compliance management, preferably in a non-profit or similar environment. Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to HR compliance. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., PeopleDoc).
