Job summary

Gray Media is seeking an entry-level Human Resources Coordinator to support corporate safety, compliance, and employee wellness programs. You will maintain confidential records, track activities, prepare reports, and coordinate with internal teams, field locations, vendors, and employees.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while handling sensitive info with discretion.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, risk management, safety, public health, wellness, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, time-management, data-entry, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidential safety, risk management, driver compliance, training, and inspection records.
• Process and track MVR checks, driver credentials, documentation, and compliance status.
• Review MVR reports and escalate concerns as needed; no employment decisions.
• Support safety and risk-management systems, user access, and training assignments.
• Track training deadlines, compile routine reports, and support campaigns and AED program administration.
• Provide administrative support for wellness campaigns and vendor coordination.
• Maintain wellness calendar and program materials; track participation.
• Draft routine program communications and manage calendars, contact lists, and records.
