The role monitors federal, state, and local employment requirements, maintains compliance calendars, policies, and documentation, and coordinates audits across HR, Legal, Benefits, and Payroll. Strong project management and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal-related credential.
• Ability to research and synthesize complex regulatory requirements.
• Strong project-management, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent judgment and escalation when needed.
• Ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an inventory of compliance obligations.
• Maintain a centralized compliance calendar with deadlines and owners.
• Document compliance decisions and remediation actions.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for HR leadership.
• Audit HR compliance areas such as I-9, wage and hour, and policy acknowledgments.
• Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
